Size Guide

At Dirndl Grace, getting the right fit matters. Below you'll find guidance on how to measure yourself accurately for each of our product categories, so you can shop with confidence.

Dirndl Size Guide

Dirndl dresses are designed to be worn close to the body for a flattering, traditional fit. If your measurements fall between sizes, particularly around the bust, we recommend ordering one size up to allow for comfort and any professional tailoring.

How to Measure?

Chest / Bust: Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it parallel to the ground and not too tight.

Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above the belly button and below the rib cage.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing with your feet together. Standing in front of a mirror helps keep the tape straight and level.

Important Tip: Bust measurement is the most important factor when choosing your Dirndl size — always prioritise this if you're unsure.

Blouse Size Guide

A well-fitted blouse completes your Dirndl look, blending traditional styling with everyday comfort.

How to Measure?

Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it even and snug but not restrictive.

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Shoulder Width: Measure from one shoulder edge to the other across your back, keeping your posture straight.

Sleeve Length: Measure from the edge of your shoulder down to your wrist, with your arm slightly bent for a natural fit.

Fit Guide: Your blouse should sit comfortably around the bust and waist without feeling tight. Some styles include elastic or adjustable detailing for extra flexibility.

Women's Lederhosen Size Guide

Getting an accurate fit starts with careful measurement. Use a soft measuring tape and keep it close to your body without pulling tight.

How to Measure?

Waist: Measure where you normally wear your bottoms, slightly above the hip bone, keeping the tape close but not tight.

Seat/Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape straight and level.

Thigh: Measure the widest part of one thigh only, keeping the tape flat without squeezing.

Length: Measure from your waist down to your preferred Lederhosen length.

Fit Guide: Women's Lederhosen are tailored to sit close to the body for a shaped, structured silhouette. Genuine leather will soften and stretch slightly with wear, so it should feel snug — not restrictive — at first.

Shoes Size Guide

Complete your outfit with well-fitted shoes for both comfort and style. Rather than relying on the label alone, measure your feet and match them against our size chart.

How to Measure?

Foot Length: Measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe, keeping the tape straight along the sole.

Foot Width: Measure across the widest part of your foot, typically around the ball area.

Tip: If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Socks Size Guide

Accurate measurements help ensure a secure, comfortable fit. Use a soft tape and keep it snug without over-tightening.

How to Measure?

Foot Length: Measure from heel to the tip of your longest toe, keeping the tape straight.

Foot Width: Measure across the widest part of your foot (ball area), keeping the tape flat and even.

Calf Circumference: Measure around the widest part of your calf, keeping the tape level without squeezing.

Fit Guide: Match your sock choice to your shoe style to avoid discomfort or friction, using foot length, width, and calf measurement as your guide.
